A little about what I've enjoyed the past month
Nars Tinted Moisturiser (St Moritz): Ive spoken about this on my blog before. Some days I hate it, some days I love it. Some days it looks too yellow, other days it is flawless. Ive been in a foundation rut lately and this has been my go to base. Pretty good coverage for a tinted moisturiser and I find after a bit of concealer and powder, it keeps my face looking pretty decent all day long.
Laura Mercier Primer (Oil free): If you can get over the strange smell, this primer does what it sets out to too. Creates a smooth base and makes make up last all day. This is my go to primer at the moment, especially for long uni days. And after almost 9 months, it looks like it's going no where. It's the tube that never ends.
Nars Cream Blush (Cactus Flower): As someone who has combination to oily skin I was hesitant to try this, well, any cream blush for that matter but I love this! The colour is beautiful (not as scary as it looks), blends like a dream and the consistency is smoooooth. It's been my every day blush this autumn.
Stila All Over Shimmer Duo (Kitten): Pretty sure I used this as an eyeshadow for a year before I realised the multi function purpose of this tiny wonder. I pretty much now dab this on as my all over highlighter. A little on the cheek bones, a little on the bridge of my nose and cupids bow. 2 Perfect pretty colours. Not too shimmery. Juuuuust right!
La Roche Posay Effaclar Mat: I'm very picky with moisturisers and never think that I will find one that I absolutely adore and can't live without. This one comes pretty darn close to that though. Its very light weight but feels as if it's actually doing something. My skin feels like its balancing out and this moisturiser feels as though it's hydrating yet keeping the oils at bay. A day I don't wear this I can definitely notice the difference. I think I may always have this in my stash...unless I find something better.
Real Techniques Stippling Brush: As for my new love for cream blush is getting stronger, so is my love for this brush. This is the perfect brush for any cream products. No patchyness, just the perfect amount of colour. I love all the brushes from Real Techniques.
Sportsgirl Leather T-Shirt: I always go into Sportsgirl and leave usually within seconds as it feels over mass produced and definitely over priced. However on my recent trip to Melbourne I thought I'd go in to pass the time and came across this little gem. Is it original? Probably not. Is it just what I wanted? Yes it was! I love everything leather (& faux leather) and I pretty much only wear T-shirts these days. Combine the 2 and you have a winning combination I can't pass up. Fits very nicely and can be worn casually or throw on a pair of heels and I feel like Im ready for a night out. This is just perfect.
